I like to take a holistic approach when creating and designing my art workshops.
My aim is to tantalise the mind, move the body and touch the spirit. I believe that by awakening the subconscious mind through art, we can heal on a much deeper level than we realise.
My art workshops are not just about learning a technique, but are carefully thought out using my life experiences and my own personal journey of healing, to ignite the creative spark which lives within you.
We can find personal satisfaction, purpose and ways to express our emotions and thoughts through art. We can tap into our intuition and use a form of soul art to decipher the body’s codes. This can help us tap into and understand what we need to do, in order to heal parts of ourselves.
Art is designed to invoke a response which can collectively create overwhelming emotions. We can create to heal ourselves, to inspire others, to learn, to grow, to achieve and also to discover parts of ourselves just waiting to be explored.
My first workshop "So You Think You Can’t Draw" is designed for people who have always wanted to learn how to draw but need a starting point. It is also great for those who have dabbled in art but would like to take it to the next level. If you have used other art mediums but have never tried soft pastel then this is also the workshop for you.
There is an opportunity to not only learn something new, but to also start tapping into your intuitive style.
What makes my workshop so special, is over the course of the day you will create three pieces of art to take home. Each one is very different so you will experience different emotions as you work through each piece. At the end of the day you will have a better understanding of what comes naturally to you, what needs improving and what you will most likely enjoy creating at home.
If this resonates with you please read below for workshop dates. New and more advanced workshops are currently being developed and will be released in the second half of 2017.
I look forward to seeing lots of new faces.
